The Heart of the Event

But this tournament is about more than just sports; it’s a vital mission to honor the heroes of our nation. The Folds of Honor Collegiate aims to raise awareness and funds for Folds of Honor, an organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of fallen or disabled military personnel and first responders.

Since its inception in 2007, Folds of Honor has changed lives by awarding scholarships to 3,792 students, contributing an extraordinary $17.5 million in educational support. With 730 recipients currently enrolled in the institutions represented at this year’s tournament, the impact keeps growing—over $3.3 million has been given to support their education during the 2024-25 academic year!

Major Sponsors on Board

Major sponsors stepping up to support this noble cause include Michelob ULTRA, Sinclair Oil, Sedgwick, Titleist, and Compliance Solutions. Special recognition goes to Anheuser-Busch, which has contributed an astounding $33 million since 2011 towards providing scholarships through Folds of Honor.

A Tribute to Heroes

This year’s event coincides closely with the anniversary of 9/11, making it an even more poignant tribute to the sacrifices made for American freedom. Teams participating come into the event with impressive credentials: 19 teams showcased their skills at the 2025 NCAA Regionals, with eight advancing to the NCAA Championships—truly a remarkable testament to their talent.

Defending Champions and New Faces

As for the competitors, expect to see the defending champions, Alabama (men) and Arizona (women), making their mark alongside Notre Dame (men), winners of the 2023 Collegiate. The lineup also features the Air Force Academy, Army, and the Naval Academy, with the Navy also fielding a women’s team.

Florida A&M is also back for its second showing in three years, proudly having won its first SWAC Men’s Golf Championship earlier this year. Meanwhile, Delaware State women’s golf, led by former BCGCA President Craig Bowen, will be making its debut at the Folds of Honor in 2025. This promises to heat up the competition!

Engage and Participate!

Don’t miss out on the opportunity for a fun and engaging experience! A College-Am and Welcome Party are scheduled for September 7, 2025, and spots are available for eager participants. Each competing team will showcase an Honor Bag tag, carrying the spirit of Folds of Honor recipients from their respective schools since the program’s inception.

A Philanthropic Legacy

With the American Dunes Golf Club created as a tribute to the birthplace of Folds of Honor and led by Jack Nicklaus, this event isn’t just another tournament. Since its opening in May 2021, the club has proudly donated over $5.5 million back to the mission of Folds of Honor. It’s transforming lives, one swing at a time.

So, join the golf community and support this legendary event—where athletic excellence meets a powerful cause. Let’s drive toward success, remembrance, and a brighter future for all!
