Golf Course
Ireland is famous for its golf courses. Why not take to the championship course at Galgorm? Appropriately named “The Championship Castle Course”, it has hosted 17 professional tournaments, including the 2020 Irish Open on the DP World Tour, four ISPS HANDA World Invitationals (2019 and 2021-23), plus 12 NI Opens since 2010. It is considered one of the top parkland courses in the country. Also on-site is “The Wee Course”, a fun, 6-hole pitch and putt layout, perfect for golfers of all abilities. The Golf Academy, Toptracer Range, and Pro Shop are all highlights as well, making Galgorm a full and complete golf experience for all.

Accommodations
The luxury accommodations at Galgorm come in a variety of sizes to suit the needs of any and all guests. Suites are perfect for two adults who wish to have a separate living space in addition to a bedroom with a king or super king size bed. For larger groups, there’s The Residences, which house eight to twelve guests, and simulate a home away from home. Also offering a homey feeling are The Cottages, which come in one, two, and three bedroom options for two to six guests. For a true woodland experience, groups of six to eight will love The Log Cabins, with a wooden facade and outdoor jacuzzi. Immersion goes even further in The Forest Dens, complete with saunas, hot tubs, and/or outdoor baths. Galgorm has two restaurants on-site, as well as a bar, lounge, and special conservatory for an authentic European afternoon tea. Gilles Restaurant is a favorite thanks to its warm ambiance and charming views of the resort’s stables. The expansive menus feature classic brasserie dishes, a grill selection and Asian-inspired creations in addition to a wine list. All dishes are carefully prepared using fresh ingredients from a local Antrim. For comfort food, look no further than Fratelli Ristorante, where fresh pizza, pastas, and salads take center stage. At the Golf Club, golfers can enjoy The Castle Kitchen and Bar, serving a variety of eats, from quick bites to hearty meals. McKendry’s is the resort’s whiskey bar, boasting a whiskey collection surpassing 300 and an extensive drinks list. The Cocktail Bar and Gin Library is the perfect spot to wind down and experiment with new cocktails, mixed drinks, and gin. In true European style, an Afternoon Tea option is available in The Conservatory, making for a luxurious and authentic experience. Activities
Exploring Galgorm in its entirety is easy with a variety of on-site activities. Cycling throughout the estate is a great way to see all the hotels, buildings, and greenery. A one-of-a-kind experience is the resort’s falconry, where professional falconers introduce guests to a selection of birds of prey. Those looking for some active pursuits can partake in the clay pigeon shooting experience, where friendly competition is always encouraged. A court hire can be reserved for a one-hour session, complete with tennis rackets and tennis balls. Galgorm also has an on-site tennis court, where rallies and games can take place amongst beginners and experts alike.

Exploration
The Northern Ireland landscape has so much to behold, and Galgorm is here to help guests experience it all. In addition to on-site cycling, guests can take bikes off campus to explore even further. Short strolls or challenging hikes through the Irish wilderness are abundant. Horseriding at the Ballylagan Trails is perfect for beginners or experts to the sport of horseriding, not to mention a great way to see the surrounding forests. Fishing at the close by River Maine is a great way to relax and learn more about the native species. Brown trout and salmon can be caught, and with advanced booking, a Ghillie can be provided to give expansive knowledge of the water.

Spa and Wellness
Galgorm has made a name for itself when it comes to spa services, winning numerous awards for its facilities and services. With a mix of day-long experiences, overnight experiences, or simply a one-off treatment, The Spa has everything guests need to feel relaxed and refreshed. Facials, massages, and skin treatments can all be personalized, and come in 60 or 90 minute options. Different forms of heat therapy, such as hot stones and sauna treatments are available. Other therapies, such as detox therapy, are also featured. In addition to the spa treatments, the wellness section of the resort also features the fitness center. Galgorm’s championship Castle course is home to numerous championship events, and it is available for resort guests to enjoy! The 18-hole, par 72 course is a 1997 Simon Gidman design. Melding perfectly with the Northern Irish landscape, it is located in the heart of the Galgorm estate. With lush green fairways and canopy-like trees throughout, the course gives a majestic, picturesque aesthetic. Also located on property is “The Wee Course”, a 6-hole pitch and putt located next to the larger course. The Golf Academy features a driving range, short game area, and putting green where the PGA Professional team offers practice and coaching facilities. The Toptracer Range also features a high-tech driving range in Northern Ireland.
