Paul joined Lydia Ko’s team in September 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience from both the LPGA and PGA Tours. Having previously worked with Major Champion Anna Nordqvist and PGA Tour winner Kevin Chappell, Paul brought a steadying presence to Ko’s bag at a time when her game was searching for consistency.
That trust and teamwork quickly paid off. With Paul by her side, Ko finished third at the 2023 BMW Ladies Championship, secured a victory alongside Jason Day at the Grant Thornton Invitational, and capped off 2024 with a third career major victory at the AIG Women’s Open. The pair also celebrated an unforgettable gold medal win at the Paris Olympics, further cementing their successful partnership.
