What Did He Do?
According to the DP World Tour, Penge placed bets on various golf events, which goes against their strict Integrity Program. An Independent Disciplinary Panel found that he violated Regulation 3(a)(i) of the integrity guidelines. The good news? Penge was not betting on himself or on any of the tournaments during his participation. The panel confirmed that this meant the integrity of those events remained intact. Phew! Still, it’s a serious breach, and Penge is now paying the price.
