Golf Lovers in Lincolnia Get Ready for Indoor Fun
Hey there, Lincolnia! If you’re one of those people who can’t wait for spring to hit the golf course, you’re in luck! The Fairfax County Park Authority’s golf department is bringing a little sunshine to your winter with their first-ever Indoor Trackman League at the Pinecrest Golf Course. Mark your calendars because this exciting tournament kicks off on January 6 and runs all the way through March 30.
Play Iconic Courses Without Stepping Outside
That’s right, golfers! You won’t need to worry about chilly weather or soggy greens. With the cutting-edge Trackman4 golf simulator, you’ll have the chance to play on some of the world’s most iconic courses, like St. Andrews and Pebble Beach. Can you feel the thrill? Get ready to put your skills to the test and aim for those birdies from the comfort of the indoors!
How Does It Work?
Wondering how to get in on the action? Well, it’s easy! All you need to do is sign up before the December 22 registration deadline. Registration is just $40—a small price for a big opportunity! Plus, if you sign up, you’ll also get discounted Trackman fees, with just $25 for the first hour and $20 for every extra hour during your league rounds.
Friendly Competitions Await
And that’s not all! There will be prizes for the overall winners and also in various closest-to-the-pin competitions. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newbie, there’s something here for everyone. The league even has designated tees for men, women, and juniors, ensuring everyone has a fair shot at glory!
Keeping the Game Alive During Winter
Michael Mauk, the program director for Pinecrest Golf Course, couldn’t be more excited about this initiative. He commented, “Pinecrest’s Indoor Trackman League offers the perfect opportunity to stay in the game during the winter months.” And he’s right! Instead of hibernating during the colder season, why not hone your skills and compete with fellow golf enthusiasts?
