Hey, disc golf fans! Circle those calendars, because the Emporia State disc golf teams absolutely shredded the competition at the MidAmerican Conference event held on February 15, 2026. Due to some heavy rains turning the Peter Pan Park Course into a soggy mess, the venue was switched to Jones Park East. And boy, did the teams deliver on the new course!
Jaden Rye Scores Big in D1 Singles!
The excitement kicked off with Jaden Rye leading the pack in the D1 singles competition. Rye played like a champ, finishing two strokes clear of his own teammate, Carter Ahrens, and Kansas State’s Maximilian Gutierrez. Rye kicked off his round with an amazing start, notching birdies on the first four holes! Talk about setting the pace! He ended the challenge at an impressive ten under after just 13 holes, before casually adding another birdie on the final three holes. Every disc he threw seemed to turn to gold!
